Matt Denyer graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1999 with a 1st class degree in Computer Science. He spent a number of years working on highly critical real-time systems for the National Air Traffic Control Centre, as well as satellite ground station and control systems for the European Space Agency in Germany. Since joining Anvil in the summer of 2004, Matt has spent several months in Amsterdam and Munich working on client sites providing front line support for ARTS. This involves working with front office traders as well as the back office, risk and collateral management departments. Matt is currently at the head office in London. Ruth Mizzi has been working in the Anvil Malta office for over two years. She graduated with a first class degree in Computer Science at the University of Malta. Ruth enjoys working for Anvil because it's given her the opportunity to constantly improve her technical and business knowledge as well as enriching her personality. At Anvil, responsibilities are readily given to people who show that they are eager to continually learn and improve their skills while the many travel opportunities are an added bonus for those who like to explore new boundaries and meet new people in their day to day job. Ruth is certainly the type to take on a challenge and ready to learn new things all the time. She has taken the opportunity to spend some time working on-site in London providing ARTS support for one of our clients. Trefor Roberts is another doctor at Anvil with a Ph.D in Physics. Trefor spent most of his Ph.D (and a postdoctorial fellowship) at the Institut Laue-Lagevin, Grenoble, working on polarised neutron techniques and rare earth magnetism. During this time he was involved in a number of international collaborations and performed experiments at large scale facilities around the world. Trefor has also spent time at client sites and has recently returned from a three month sabbatical.
